Firefox 11 Available for Installation, all Ubuntus

Firefox 11 was released just a few days back, and is now available via the official repos of all current Ubuntu versions. The major changes in this new version are:
  • Firefox can now migrate your bookmarks, history, and cookies from Google Chrome
  • With Sync enabled, add-ons can now be synchronized across your computers
  • Redesigned media controls for HTML5 video
  • The Style Editor for CSS editing is now available to web developers
  • Various other updates primarily relevant for web developers
  • Various security fixes, and the usual long list of other bug fixes

Installation

Since current versions of Firefox are now made available via the official repos of all current Ubuntu versions (earlier post reg. that here), to get Firefox 11, you just need to install the available updates via the Update Manager, or from the Terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
